Update to this post and the video. I forget one key thing to know that should be included. When paying for rent, deposits, or just about anything else, you will need pesos. This means that you will need to make multiple trips to an atm to get thousands of dollars of pesos. Very few people will accept anything but cash. This can be a big challenge and something you need to consider when looking for a long-term rental when moving or retiring in Mexico.
